Denver Birth Doula & Birth Photographer Supporting Calm, Confident, and Informed Birth Experiences

Supporting families across Denver with personalized, trauma informed care

Iโ€™m Beka โ€” the Denver birth doula and photographer behind Manawa Birth. Iโ€™m here to hold space for birth as itโ€™s meant to be: instinctive, powerful, and deeply yours. I believe in advocacy, body autonomy, and honoring every familyโ€™s unique path. My work is about creating a grounded, supportive container โ€” and documenting birth as the transformative force it truly is โ™ก

Hola! Soy Beka, me encantarรญa conocerte!

Iโ€™m so happy youโ€™re here!

"My partner and I cannot imagine labor/delivery without our doula. Beka pulled out all the tricks and was our source of calm and knowledge during the birth of our first child."

Photography has always been part of my life, but birth is where my storytelling finds its soul. Birth is a journey โ€” physical, emotional, and spiritual โ€” often held by community. Iโ€™m here to witness and document not only the birthing person, but the circle of family and loved ones they choose to surround themselves with, capturing the shared strength, connection, and feminine energy woven through pregnancy and labor.

Hereโ€™s how I support families on your journey โ€” whether you want steady presence, meaningful documentation, or both:

Three people assisting a woman during water birth in a home setting, with focused expressions, surrounded by books and framed pictures on the wall.
A person holding a child in a bathroom, with another person assisting nearby. The scene appears to be emotional, with a bathtub in the background.

I donโ€™t just document your birth โ€” I capture the feeling of it

Some of the most meaningful moments in birth happen in the presence of those you trust. Iโ€™m drawn to documenting the quiet support of partners, family, and chosen loved ones โ€” the steady hands, familiar voices, and shared strength that surround the birthing person. These moments matter, and they deserve to be held with care.

โ€œDoulas are wonderful people and Rebeka is definitely an exceptional one. To include, she took wonderful pictures of my labor and birth of my son while still providing support, how? I donโ€™t know, she is just that good. So if I do decide  on having another child, I would not hesitate in choosing Rebeka as my doula again.โ€

LETโ€™S MEET!

Birth is personal, sacred, and deeply important. Iโ€™d love to meet you, hear your story, and talk about how I can support and capture this next chapter with you.
