Let's talk "DUE DATES"

As mentioned in my last blog post, June and July were my first months in Co that were fully booked. I figured I would give y’all a look into my calendar.

JUNE:

Family 1 :June 17th delivered June 27th

Family 2: June 18th delivered June 12th

Family 3: June 29th delivered June 23rd

JULY:

Family 4: July 22nd delivered July 6th

Family 5: July 28th delivered Aug 3rd

Family 6: Delivered July 9th (called in as a back up)

Family 7: Delivered Aug 2nd (called in as a back up)

I also backed up some doula friends for families 6&7. These weren’t in my schedule, but thought i’d mentioned how they fit in. the July 9th one being 3 days after my client delivered and a couple of hours before my family got into town (it worked out perfectly) and the August 2nd the day before my client delivered.

I was nervous when my family was making plans to visit, not sure if I would have to go to births or not, buuuuut my littles know that sometimes I just have to get up and go (it happened when they visited for during December last year). Thankfully I got to spend some great quality time with them & I got to attend births before and after.

Th0se are all the deets, and a look into what my months looked like, all this to show you BIRTH IS UNPREDICTABLE & BABIES COME WHEN THEY WANT!

All these births were beautiful, all these families labored beautifully, there was so much love in the air! two families didn’t know the gender of their littles and they BOTH had BOYS!

My little heart is happy that I got to meet these families, help them through labor and capture them being absolute badasses!
